NFL & NBA · Daily fantasy and betting analytics

Every box score.
Every position.
Every night.

We collect every player's box score after every game, score it the way DraftKings, FanDuel and Yahoo do, and roll it into the two tables the old spreadsheets lived by: points for by position and points allowed by position. Lay one over the other and tonight's slate tells you where the points are.

The overlay

Two tables, one row per team.

The workbooks that came before this site scraped three websites to build them. Here they are queries over box scores we own, so they work under any scoring system and any window.

  1. 01

    Points for, by position

How many fantasy points each team's quarterbacks, running backs, guards, centers produce per game. Primary position for the season, so nobody is counted twice.

  2. 02

    Points allowed, by position

The same sum, from the defense's side: what each team gives up to opposing centers, tight ends, wideouts. Ranked, with the league average always in view.

  3. 03

    The matchup overlay

Own production beside tonight's opponent's allowance, a projected total each way, and the Vegas line with its move since open. The flagship table, reborn.

Read a slate the way the sheets read it.

One row per team. Column groups divided by rules. Every numeric column colored red to green on its own range, with its own polarity: a big number under Opponent allows is green because it is a good matchup; a big number under Pts A is red because it is not.

Static sample from an archived sheet: Chicago, Denver, Golden State, Miami and New Orleans on one November slate. The live table adds every team, scoring-system and window toggles, cohort sub-rows and CSV export.

Cohorts

Not every game counts the same.

Every game is tagged with the conditions it was played under. Any table can be filtered to the games that look like tonight's, and the cohort figure sits under the general one, muted, with its n so it never masquerades as the whole season.

Starting QB out
NFL games where a team's starting quarterback did not play. Points allowed to that team's receivers by the opponent mean something different that week.
Starting RB out
Same idea for the backfield: how a defense held up against a committee, and how the rest of the offense absorbed the touches.
Preseason excluded
August football is collected and scored, then kept out of the main tables. It is there when you ask for it and nowhere else.
Coming
Back-to-backs and altitude for the NBA; dome, surface and weather for the NFL; park factors and opposing starter handedness once MLB arrives.

Verification

Box scores change after the game. We fetch them again.

Stat corrections land hours and sometimes days later. Each game's box score is re-fetched on a schedule and every version is kept, so a figure you saw yesterday is still there today, next to the corrected one.

  1. 6h

First re-fetch, once the box is final.

  2. 24h

    Next-day corrections, the common case.

  3. 72h

    Late adjustments from the league.

  4. 7d

Final pass. The version is frozen.

  • Every version stored; diffs between versions logged.
  • Fantasy points recomputed from raw stats, never scraped.
  • Unmatched names and positions go to a review queue, not a guess.
